The beginning
of the 20th century
In the old Bulgarian Kuiumdjiev family /goldsmiths/, the secret of jewellery making is passed from father to son, along with the surname. At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, Ivan Dobrev Kuiumdjiev, the recognized Master Goldsmith from Gorna Oryhovitsa, dedicated three of his sons - Lazar, Pantaley and Petar to the craft.
